UPDATE ON INJURY TO A CHILD- Mark Wayne Cole, age 30 of Nacogdoches, was arrested Saturday morning at 11:30 am on a warrant for injury to a child (1st degree felony).  Cole is charged with injuring a 20 month old female child that was left in his care on 10-17-08. The child was taken to a Nacogdoches hospital on 10-17-08 suffering from severe injuries consistent with non-accidental injuries. The child was taken to a Dallas hospital where she is currently listed in critical condition.

UPDATE ON SHOOTING INCIDENT: RANDALL STREET. N.P.D. detectives continue the investigation into the shooting of a 16-year old girl in the 1100 block of Randall Street Tuesday evening. Further information will be released when the investigation progresses. No new information at this time.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: 1200 BLOCK OF WELLS STREET. Officers responded to a noise complaint. Upon arrival, officers immediately smelled burning marijuana and a usable amount of suspected marijuana was located inside the residence. Alan Peter Strouts was arrested.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA-FAILURE TO IDENTIFY: 600 BLOCK OF BREMOND. Officers stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation. Officers located suspected marijuana in the vehicle. The suspect also gave officers a false name. Guillermo Perez-Guillermo was arrested.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 300 BLOCK OF BREMOND. AN X-BOX 360 AND Several games were reported stolen from a residence.

IDENTITY THEFT: 300 BLOCK OF POWERS STREET. An unknown suspect was using complainant's identity to obtain power from TXU Electric.

THEFT: 1100 BLOCK OF NORTH UNIVERSITY DRIVE. Three suspects were observed taking shoes from a store. They were gone on arrival of officers.

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING: 5000 BLOCK OF SOUTH STREET. Unknown persons entered a building and took several steel trusses.

THEFT: 1900 BLOCK OF DOUGLASS ROAD. A red 16' lowboy trailer was taken from a business. Texas license 38X-XVD.

IDENTITY THEFT: 900 BLOCK OF MARTIN LUTHER KING. Complainant lost his wallet in January and now an unknown suspect is using his identity for employment.

THEFT: 4800 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Suspect was observed placing video games and other items under his clothing. Draden Heath Copeland was arrested.

SEXUAL ASSAULT OF A CHILD: 312 WEST MAIN. The mother of a 16 year old girl reported that a sexual relationship has occurred between the 16 year old and a 20 year old man.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 3500 BLOCK OF LAWSON PARKWAY. Unknown suspects entered a home that is under construction and flooded it. Also another home was damaged by fruit being thrown on it.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: 700 BLOCK OF OAKHILL PLAZA. Complainant reported being assaulted by several known suspects. The victim suffered facial injuries. Investigation underway.
