LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - More than two months ago, a botched robbery attempt ended in murder, and now, the three men accused of that crime have been indicted on capital murder charges by an Angelina County grand jury.

Brian Womack, Jarred Berwick, and Robert Buschman are still in the Angelina County Jail.

On August 17th, Womack tried to rob the Lufkin Catfish King, and ended up shooting the two people who were closing up the restaurant. Restaurant manager Katie Jeffreys was hit in the foot, but Keith Labrozzi was killed in the altercation. Womack was also shot in the stomach during the gunfight.

A week later, Buschman was arrested during a traffic stop and Berwick turned himself in to police. Both are believed to have been involved in the planning of the robbery.
