POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: 100 OAKHILL PLAZA. Officer contacted the suspect for suspicious activity and saw him throw an item on the ground. It was found to be five rocks of suspected cocaine. Bruce Shepherd was arrested.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 2100 BLOCK OF PEARL. A moped had been moved to a different parking space. The vehicle also had been scratched and the license plate stolen.

FORGERY: 312 WEST MAIN. Complainant reported unauthorized transactions on his debit card.

THEFT: 5600 BLOCK OF TERRRY CRAWFORD DRIVE. A yellow John Deere bulldozer was reported stolen from the southwest area of the airport.

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING: 1600 BLOCK OF BONEY STREET. A ceiling fan and small items were missing from an abandoned residence.

IDENTITY THEFT: 5300 BLOCK OF NORTHWAY. Someone used complainant's identity to open an account with a communications provider.

BBURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 700 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. A purse and an mp3 player with identifying information was taken from a vehicle.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 200 BLOCK OF MULLER. A door on an apartment had been kicked in, causing damage.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: 2100 BLOCK OF NORTH UNIVERSITY. Officers stopped a vehicle for traffic and smelled the odor of burning marijuana. A search of the vehicle revealed a usable amount of suspected marijuana.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: 200 BLOCK OF KING STREET. Officer contacted the suspect due to a littering complaint. Officer observed a marijuana pipe in the residence and also located a baggie of suspected marijuana. Justin Covington was arrested.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: 300 BLOCK OF WEST COLLEGE. Officers responded to a disturbance call. While investigating the disturbance, officers discovered that Steven Vaughn was in possession of suspected marijuana. He was arrested.

FAILURE TO IDENTIFY: 3200 BLOCK OF SOUTH STREET. Officer stopped the suspect for a traffic violation. Fidel Sanchez was arrested for giving officer a false name.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 400 BLOCK OF KNOTTINGHAM. A suspect broke the window out of a vehicle and stole a purse.
