Nacogdoches Police Report - 10/29/08

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 800 BLOCK OF EVELYN STREET. A television and laptop computer was reported missing from the residence.

THEFT: 4900 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. A purse containing personal identification and effects was stolen out of an employee break area.

THEFT: 600 BLOCK OF DENMAN STREET. A black 16' lowboy trailer was reported missing from a residence.

THEFT: 1500 BLOCK OF PHOENIX DRIVE. Complainant reported several pieces of gold and diamond jewelry missing from a residence.

EVADING ARREST: 1700 BLOCK OF EAST MAIN. A known wanted suspect fled from officers who were trying to contact him. Warrant requested.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: 700 BLOCK OF LUCAS STREET. Bobby Porter was stopped on a pedestrian stop and was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. He was arrested.

HIT AND RUN: 3200 BLOCK OF PEARL. A vehicle backed into a parked vehicle and left the scene. The suspect vehicle was later located parked on Douglass road. The driver was identified.

UNLAWFUL RESTRAINT: 1500 BLOCK OF BUTLER ALLEY. A known suspect refused to let a female complainant leave the residence. The complainant was able to leave and call police. Warrant requested.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT-POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: 600 BLOCK OF WEST COX. Officers responded to an unknown situation. Officers determined that Roger McMullen had threatened a victim with a handgun. While investigating, officers located a baggie of suspected powder cocaine. McMullen was arrested.
