East Texas man acquitted of molestation charges

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A Huntington man has been cleared of all charges after being accused of molesting a young boy.

Terry Brasher was acquitted Wednesday on charges of indecency with a child. During testimony on Tuesday he told a jury that the boy was making up his story because of a disagreement between Brasher and the boy's father.

Brasher and his wife released a statement to KTRE saying, "We're relieved that it's over. We want to give God the glory. We want to thank everyone for their support for the last two years."
