LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - After being indicted by an Angelina County grand jury, an East Texas woman turned herself in to the Angelina County Sheriff's Office.

Samanth Lynn Wideman is accused of seriously injuring Ian Wesley Landers, a Hudson toddler who died last year in a Houston hospital.

After turning herself in on Monday, Wideman bonded out on a $20,000 bond.

Earlier this year, autopsy results ruled the two-year-old's death a homicide.

The report showed Landers had injuries all over his body, including trauma to the brain, lower limbs, and even his elbows. The autopsy also mentioned previous visits to the hospital for head injuries.

According to Angelina County District Attorney Clyde Herrington, Wideman is the girlfriend of the victim's father.
