LUFKIN, TX - Angelina College Visual Arts majors will display their considerable talents in an exhibition set to open Tuesday, Nov. 25th at the Angelina Center for the Arts Gallery on the AC campus.
The gallery will run through Dec. 12th; and a public reception will take place from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday the 25th. There is no admission fee for the exhibition or reception.
Those displaying their works include students of Mrs. Robbie Roach's Painting Class, and Mr. Richard Carnley's Basic Drawing and Basic Design classes.
Painting students will exhibit works in Oils and Acrylics in a variety of assigned approaches. Landscape and Psychological Self Portrait are among the subject categories.
Basic Drawing students will exhibit Drawings of various media and subject matter, including Still Life, Perspective, and Chiaroscuro.
Basic Design Students will exhibit Collage Designs, Book Arts and other media relating to specific design problems.
