UPDATE: Standoff Ends after 8 hours in Pittsburg

PITTSBURG, TEXAS (KTRE) - A standoff has ended after eight hours in the city of Pittsburg after police try and serve a warrant.

The standoff started around 4 p.m. in the 100 block of Ash Street. Late Thursday night Pittsburg Police Chief Richard Penn told KTRE sister station KLTV 7 they received a tip James Kenneth Hughes Isom, a man wanted on four felony robbery warrants, would be at the location around Thursday afternoon.

Penn said warrant officers went to the location and they believe Isom and another unidentified person barricaded themselves inside the house.

The Longview Police Department SWAT team has also been brought into assist with negotiations.

Penn said Isom's four warrants are out of the Lone Star community of Morris County.
