EDOM, TX (KLTV) - Joseph Hobbs doesn't just build birdhouses in his downtown Edom shop, he builds works of art.

Hobbs' birdhouses look more like fairy castles with their intricate staircases, windows, and grand entrances.  Most are made from hollowed out logs but that's where the similarity stops.

The finished product, which takes hours, sometimes days to complete, are one of a kind art pieces that any home, or bird for that matter, would be proud to display.
