Restaurant Report- Angelina County- 01/01/2009

ANGELINA COUNTY (KTRE)- Several restaurants made this week's Restaurant Report lets see what health inspectors had to say for some Angelina County eateries.

Dairy Queen #8 at 202 N. Temple in Diboll received 19 demerits. Health inspectors said the freezer, microwave, and handsink all needed to be cleaned. All employees must have food handler's certification. The back door needed to be sealed tightly. The food on the prep table was not at the proper temperature.

Lufkin Mall 9 at 4600 S. Medford got 16 demerits. They too need to have food handler's certification. There were roaches and the dish room floor needed to be cleaned. They also were instructed to sanitize food contact surfaces.

The Chevron Deli & Grocery  on the west Loop 287 only got 11 demerits. Dairy items were stored on the floor in the cooler and the ice machine was in need of  a good cleaning.

Congratulations to Wild Willie's  they received 0 demerits on this week's report.
