LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - As of Yesterday, East Texas' very own Best-Selling Author, John Foxjohn, has gained yet, another best-seller.
Nacogdoches born and raised, now Lufkin resident, John Foxjohn has authored best sellers, "Code of Deceit", "Journey of the Spirit", and his international best-seller, "Cold Tears", which was voted by readers as the best mystery in the world. East Texas News met with Foxjohn today and learned that as a former homiside detective for the houston police department, he used his experiences as inspiration. But of all his mystery novels, he thinks of his latest historical fiction best seller, "Journey of the Spirit" as his "baby".
"I decided to write this one when I was 12 years old" said Foxjohn. "I researched it for 10 years. I just had that special feeling about this book. I really did. I knew it was going to be good. I didn't know it was going to really take off the way it has".
