Diboll Welcomes Home Newly Renovated T.L.L. Temple Memorial Library

DIBOLL, TX (KTRE) - After 3 years of planning and one year of construction, Diboll is welcoming their newly renovated library.

The old building of the the T.L.L. Temple Memorial Library has been totally renovated and they've added on to it as well, so what was once a 6,906 square foot building, is now a 14 thousand one hundred and 8 square foot facility. The library director, Brenda Russel, said the community responded to a survey they sent out three years ago and now, their dream has come true.

"The people told us what they wanted and so a building program is what accomplished all those things and that's why we did what we did", said Russel.

Along with a larger space, and more computers for public access, a new community room was also added for meetings and public functions.
