HOLLY LAKE RANCH (KLTV) - Ellie Taylor's paintings hang in galleries in Texas, Louisiana and New Mexico; and in homes from Martha's Vineyard to El Paso. But, it's in her studio at Holly Lake Ranch that you get the full scope of her passion for art.
Taylor began painting after she asked God to bring something new into her life. She never dreamed the "new' would be so big. She has painted literally hundreds of canvases in the past twenty five years, and has never lost her passion. Her paintings are impressionistic because, as she says, that's the way she sees things. As the wife of a minister, Taylor often illustrates paintings for church groups, but is equally in demand for clubs and art gatherings.
Ellie Taylor's paintings also hang in the East Texas Medical Center Cancer Center and she will be showing her work at the Longview museum Of Art in July.
