PINELAND, TX (KTRE) - An East Texas woman who was once a substitute teacher and now works in the West Sabine ISD technology department has been arrested on charges of having improper contact with a student. Hassie Taylor worked for the West Sabine ISD until yesterday.
Superintendent Travis Edwards told KTRE that the school conducted an internal investigation into allegations against Taylor. That investigation concluded yesterday and Taylor resigned. Today, the Sabine County Sheriff's Office confirmed that she was arrested. We'll have more on this story as it develops on KTRE, and KTRE.com.
