Gallons of gas pour into Lananna Creek and streets of Nacogdoches

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Hundreds of gallons of gas poured into Lananna Creek in Nacogdoches Today.

The Hazardous Materials Team has been working since around 2:30 this afternoon trying to clean up the gas.

Officials say around 300 gallons of unleaded fuel poured from the tank of a truck pulling out of a chevron gas station.

Crews will be working for at least two days cleaning the spill.

Officials say the spill should not cause any health problems to residents and have not found a reason to evacuate.
