NACOGDOCHES, TX(KTRE)- Nacogdoches Police are keeping a close watch on one apartment complex. The Hampton Place West Apartments on the corner of East Austin and North Pecan Street.
Early Monday evening, officers were called to those apartments twice within a thirty minutes time span.
Residents say about fifty people were arguing with one another, when police drove up they scattered.
Lisa Bronsell, a resident in the complex, described what happen. She says, " They started in the court yard and then they ended up on North Pecan Street and then we started to leave and that's when the cops showed back up."
At least one arrest was made. Initially, police were told gunshots were fired, but a closer investigation ruled that out.
