LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Wright Motor Company closed their used car dealership on Timberland Drive and they have moved to the Barrett Bros. Motor Company car lot just down the road on First Street.
Barrett Bros. will keep their Kia dealership, but Wright Motor Company has now taken over the Buick, Pontiac, and GMC dealership. Wright Motor Company said they are looking forward to the new venture.
"Every salesperson's aspiration, I started off as a salesperson, I still consider myself a salesperson. You know opportunity, just to continue to improve our business and that's probably the main focus," owner of Wright Motor Company, Paul Wright said.
He said he wants his customers to know he still has nice used cars if they want to go that route, but now he can also help them get a new Buick, Pontiac, or GMC.
He said he thinks Barrett Bros. are looking forward to focusing on their Kia dealership, and business at the new dealership will continue as usual.
The deal has been in the works for about a year and a half.
