LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - For 12 straight hours individuals came in to the City of Lufkin Municipal Court to pay their outstanding warrants.
Many came in with a little help from the police department.
The city cleared 162 warrants on Friday. The court said they were hoping to collect $22,000 and they were more than successful. They ended up collecting $26,000.
Saturday Nacogdoches will have their warrant sweep. If you need to clear a warrant, the Nacogdoches Municipal Court will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
