Notes: The Wildcats will have a new man in charge after Charlie Coker leaves Emory Rains to take an admin job in the Houston area. Former Quitman AD/HC Bryan Oakes has been tabbed to fill that spot. Oakes has familiarity with the program after spending the past few season as the team’s assistant AD and defensive coordinator. Oakes looks to help rebuild a Wildcat football team that won it’s first and last game of the season in 2022. The Wildcats will look to compete for a playoff spot in a competitive 5-3A DI district.
