Houston, TX (KTRE) - The Houston Texans are looking for their first win of the 2018 season. The team lost 27-22 to the previously winless New York Giants.
Lufkin’s Keke Coutee is still listed in the number 2 spot on the depth chart for the slot position, behind Bruce Ellington. He is in the third spot for kickoff and punt returns. Shortly after releasing the unofficial depth chart, the Texans put Ellington on the Injured reserve list, meaning Ellington’s season is over. the reason listed was for a hamstring.
Ellington’s move to the IR could mean we see Coutee make his first NFL start against the Colts on Sunday. Coutee has been inactive for the first three games but on Monday Coutee said he was very close to being in game shape and that the hold up was more “game rust” then injury.
