NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Since Thanksgiving, crooks have burglarized a home in Nacogdoches County twice.
“They’d stolen all the televisions and rummaged through bunch of stuff,” said Colin Moore, owner.
But before the second incident, security cameras were mounted at the home on Angelina Lane.
“They broke into the house. Totally rummaged through it, went through all our stuff, also cut the locks on the shed and the chains, there was a chain on the shed they cut all that and just took a ton of stuff,” Moore said.
They hope to catch the burglars who stole more than $8,000 worth of merchandise.
Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office deputies are hoping the public can help them identify and catch two people accused in the burglary.
Gloria and Wallace Seely, Moore’s relatives and neighbors, said at least now they have an idea of what the suspects look like.
“We feel a little bit more at ease knowing who to look for, you see. Before it was, you know we couldn’t sleep, every noise outside we’re getting up checking,” Gloria said. “The first week was kind of hard but now knowing seeing pictures we’re little bit you know ... I mean we got things to protect ourselves, you know.”
Deputies believe the truck is a late 90s model Ford F-150 half-ton pickup. It’s either white or silver in color and has damage to the rear drivers side bumper.
“I would like to see them caught, see them prosecuted so that they’re not out there doing this to somebody else and God forbid that they do this when somebody’s home,” Moore said.
If you recognize the truck or the person in the photo please contact Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Deputies. To provide information on the case, contact NCSO at 936-560-7777 or Nacogdoches Crime Stoppers at 936-560-INFO.
