East Texas (KLTV/KTRE) - Here is the Weather Where You Live... A First Alert Weather Day for tonight through 9 AM on Thursday. Strong to severe storms are likely to move through East Texas along a cold front. Please remain alert to rapidly changing weather conditions overnight tonight. The greatest risk overnight tonight in the strong storms will be very gusty, thunderstorm winds along with some pockets of large hail. Some minor flooding is possible as a total 1″-3″ of rain is likely, with a few areas getting a bit more. The risk of isolated tornadoes remains low, however, not out of the question. Please remain alert. Once the front passes through East Texas, skies will clear quickly by tomorrow afternoon. Sunny and pleasant for the afternoon. Some cooler air arrives by Friday, with sunny skies expected. Mostly Cloudy skies Saturday through Monday with scattered showers possible. Partly Cloudy on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week with chilly mornings and cool afternoons. Please remain Weather Alert.
