Suspect wanted for September burglary of residence in custody in Trinity County

TRINITY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - A man who had been wanted since September for allegedly burglarizing a home has been arrested.

The Trinity County Sheriff’s Office was searching for 40-year-old Eric Fancher who they said was wanted for burglary of a habitation.

On December 31, Sheriff Woody Wallace posted a photo of a constable with Fancher in handcuffs, along with the simple comment, “In custody.” No further information was given about his capture.

Fancher was wanted in connection to a burglary at a residence on Campground Road in the Trinity Cove subdivision. The burglary was reported to the office on Sept. 20, 2018.

The office is also asking for the public’s aid in identifying a second suspect involved in the same burglary.
