NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - A week after being announced as the new outside wide receiver coach at SFA, Malcolm Kelly has left the program.

It was announced on twitter that Arkansas State has hired the former Longview Lobo and Washington Redskin.

It is unclear what led to the change of mind but the former All-American wrote on twitter Thursday morning:

“Although short lived I want to thank SFA Football, Coach Carthel and Ryan Ivey for the opportunity to represent East Texas and the Lumberjacks. Class acts!”
