NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - The Nacogdoches Art Alliance will be presenting its 8th annual “Nacogdoches Film Festival.” The festival will be held from February 21 to 23 at the Fredonia Hotel in downtown Nacogdoches.
Dr. A.C. Himes of the Nacogdoches Art Alliance said the goal of the film festival is offer a place for Texas filmmakers to show their work, as well as to expose Texans to unique films they wouldn’t have otherwise seen. He says several films are submitted to the festival digitally from all over the U.S. and from other countries as well.
A wide variety of films will be screened and judged at the festival. Feature films, music videos, and high school short films are just some of the categories. Those who attend will also be able to sit in on different panels with film industry professionals discussing different aspects of film making. Films submitted for competition will also be judged by industry professionals.
Those wanting to attend can buy an all-access pass that will grant them priority seating at all films, panels, and events at the festival. All-access passes are $100. One-day passes are also available for purchase.
