Crockett PD asking for public’s help in IDing suspects who stole computers from Walmart

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Two suspects allegedly stole thousands of dollars’ worth of computers and computer equipment from the Crockett Walmart, and now the town’s police department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the man and woman.

Deep East Texas Crime Stoppers posted bulletins about the crime on its website and Facebook page that include surveillance video of the two suspects.

“Crockett Police Department needs to identify a man and woman who investigators say are responsible for thousands of dollars in retail theft losses,” the Crime Stoppers bulletin states. “To encourage someone to put names to the faces, Crime Stoppers has reward money available.”

The surveillance video shows the two suspects walking out of the Crockett Walmart with computers and computer equipment.

According to the Crime Stoppers bulletin, the man and woman were driving a silver, single-cab Ford F-150 pickup with step sides. The truck, a 1997- to 2004-year model, had a ladder rack.

“The criminals will be recognized, probably by many of their friends and family, but only the first, anonymous crime-solving tip submitted directly to Crime Stoppers will be eligible for a reward,” the Crime Stoppers bulletin states.

Anyone with any information about the suspects is urged to submit a tip by clicking the “Solve This” link on the Crime Stoppers website. Tips may also be submitted the Crime Stoppers app or by calling (936) 639-TIPS.

“The entire Crime Stoppers process, from tip to reward, is anonymous,” the bulletin states. “If you submit a Crime Stoppers tip, no one will know who you are.”
