DEEP EAST TEXAS (KTRE) - High pressure will dominate our weather landscape this Easter weekend, leading to some spectacular weather across our part of the state. Look for chilly mornings to give way to warm afternoons under sun-filled skies and low humidity. It will feel great to be outdoors and will make for some great photo opportunities on Easter Sunday.
As we transition into next week, southerly winds will return, leading to some higher humidity levels making their way back in to East Texas. We should stay mainly dry through Tuesday before our rain and thunderstorm chances start to ramp up by the middle part of next week as our next storm system encroaches on the Lone Star state.
