ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - As storms blew through East Texas, one resident of the area lost an important part of his business operations.
Lonnie Crawford had damage to his home, including some holes in the roof and a tree on the carport. He even has a piece of wood which was lodged into the siding of his home by strong winds.
“Both barns were blown away,” he said, “I’ve got ... maybe $75-80,000 worth of bull semen in a couple of tanks that spilled over. Holes in the roof, trees on the garage, sheet metal in the wires....what was my reaction? Thank God we wasn’t here,” he said, adding that he’d have been panicked if he had been home during the storm.
He said he was thankful that the damage was not worse than it is.
