ANGELINA COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - The annual Angelina County Landfill Day is Saturday. Dubbed ‘a day of dumping’, landfill day is open to Angelina County residents.
For more than two decades, Angelina County Waste Management has opened the landfill to the public to dump. They’re accepting household items including TVs, computers and appliances up to 220 pounds total.
Tires, batteries and liquids will not be accepted. Residents can dump their trash as many times any time between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Officials with Angelina County Waste Management say all loads must be covered with a tarp, or there will be a $5 fee.
