Pittsburg police say 4 rounds shot at police station, ask public’s help finding shooter
Authorities in Camp County are searching for whoever fired shots at the Pittsburg Police Department building late Wednesday.

PITTSBURG, Texas (KLTV) - Authorities in Camp County are searching for whoever fired shots at the Pittsburg Police Department building late Wednesday.

According to the department, an unknown person fired at least four shots at the building on South Greer Boulevard around 10:45 p.m. There were people in the building, but no one was injured. Police determined that four rounds struck the building.

Pittsburg police say they have received assistance from Texas DPS, the Texas Rangers, ATF, the Camp County Sheriff’s Office, and the Camp County Constable’s Office.

Additional precautions are being taken to ensure security at the building, according to a police spokesperson.
