HUNTINGTON, Texas (KTRE) - Huntington ISD is calling for a bond election for more than $19 million.

KTRE’s T’Ebonie Tanner sat down with Huntington ISD Superintendent David Flowers to learn more about why the district is asking for the money.

Flowers said the money would be used to build a new multipurpose gym, renovate the career tech facility and new lockers and safety doors for the schools.

The bond will be on the ballot on May 2.
