FRISCO, Texas (KLTV) - Two years ago, Cowboys QB Dak Prescott stood up and said he would always stand for the national anthem when played at the games. It was in response to Colin Kaepernick’s controversial kneeling that really took on a national life of it’s own.
Prescott feels the same but also says he’d support any player who does kneel.
“Yeah, a hundred percent, that’s what this country’s about right. is that we all have that choice,” Prescott said. “I think that’s the greatest part about this country, is that we all have that choice. We have the choice to do as we please, whether to kneel or believe in this religion, that religion. To come from this background and still make it, come from this economic deal or be burdened by your oppression and still overcome it, I mean its just obviously, so obviously I support life and I support the good in people”
