HOUSTON, Texas (KTRE) - At 4-12, there is room for a lot of improvement for the Houston Texans.
The team will enter next season with a new general manager and head coach after the team parted ways with Bill O’Brien in October.
Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy is rumored to be the front runner for the coaching job. Other names have surfaced. No matter who the coach ends up being quarterback Deshaun Watson says there needs to be a change across the organization.
“We’ve all got to be on the same page,” Watson said. “There’s too many different minds, too many different ideas and too many people thinking they have this power, and it’s not like that. We need someone that stands tall, and this is who we follow and this is the way it goes. We just need new energy. We just need discipline. We need structure. We need a leader so we can follow that leader as players. That’s what we need.”
