NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - Andy Evans was the last high school football coach with ties to East Texas to be named to the UIL’s Top 100 coaches list.
The list was put together to honor the UIL’s 100 years of football.
Evans lead the Tatum Eagles to back-to-back state championships in 2005 and 2006. Evans stepped away from the Eagles in 2015. Before Tatum, Evans coached at East Chambers and finished his career 185-70.
