Power supplier leaves nearly 1,000 without electricity in Nacogdoches

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - The Deep East Texas Electric Cooperative is reporting an outage by their power supplier leaving approximately 1,000 without power and no estimate of a time when power will be restored.

DETEC said in a Facebook post that the areas affected are Woden, Oakridge, and Shawnee.

DETEC received an update from Oncor that two broken poles on their system is the cause of the outage.
