Cowboys get plenty of big time games in 2021

DALLAS, Texas (KTRE) - Dallas Cowboys fans have a lot to look forward to with the 2021-22 season.

“America’s Team” will take the stage in prime time this year to help kick off the 2021 NFL season when they travel to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to open the season in the annual NFL Kickoff game on Sept.9.

Dallas is coming off of a disappointing 6-10 season where they failed to make the playoffs, while Tampa Bay went 15-5, beating Kansas City in the Super Bowl.

The NFL has been promoting the Super Bowl Champions in almost every NFL Kickoff game since 2002. Dallas last played in the NFL Kickoff game in 2012.

The Cowboys will also have two Sunday night games. It will be spooky in Minnesota when the team travels to the Vikings for a Halloween showdown. They hope to get a Christmas win in the nation’s capitol when they play the Washington Football team on Dec.26.

Another big game will will be on Nov. 21 when Dallas pays a visit to Arrowhead Stadium to take on Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.

The team’s annual Thanksgiving Day game will be against the Las Vegas Raiders on November 25, and the next Thursday the team will travel to New Orleans.
