French pharmaceutical corporation chooses Lufkin for its first international R&D site
LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - French pharmaceutical corporation Gattefosse’ has chosen Lufkin as their first development site outside their native country.
The Lyon-based company has said it intends to build a nearly $60 million research and development facility in the Lufkin Business Park.
Lufkin Economic Development Director Bob Samford said one of the reasons that the company has chosen Lufkin is for the city’s workforce and quality of life, but also for Lufkin’s recent Foreign Trade Zone designation.
