Kristin Kasper joined the Wyoming News Now team as the executive producer and an evening anchor in May of 2022.
Kristin comes to Cheyenne from the Gray Television Washington News Bureau, where she covered complex issues at the White House, the Supreme Court, and on Capitol Hill. While interviewing presidential candidates, Cabinet members, lawmakers, and White House officials, she reported on large news events, including President Donald Trump's multiple impeachment trials and the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot.
Before working in Washington, Kristin was a general assignment reporter and weekend anchor for WPTA in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Kristin graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a B.A in broadcast journalism and a minor in music.
She began her nearly decade-long journalism career in Cheyenne and is thrilled to be back!
She continues to be an avid supporter of the arts, with a life-long appreciation for choral music, opera, and musical theatre. Kristin currently sits on the board of directors for the Alexandria Choral Society.
