Victoria Lara joined the KLTV & KTRE news team in June of 2020. She is a reporter, producer and anchors Good Morning East Texas Weekend.

A DFW native, Victoria graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Converged Broadcast Media and Political Science. She gained media experience at her college TV station North Texas Television. There, she served in a number of roles, including news director. She interned with CBS11 news in Dallas and is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. Victoria has also earned a Telly and multiple Lone Star EMMY student production awards.

Outside of work, Victoria is an avid cook. She likes to try new recipes in her kitchen for her family and friends to enjoy. She also enjoys spending time with her German Shepherd, Bane, and her Orange Tabby cat, Basil.
