LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A Pennsylvania man pleaded guilty Wednesday as part of a plea bargain in a 2008 case where he was caught driving 18 pounds of marijuana through Angelina County.
As part of the deal, Chester Miller, 51, will serve five years of probation and must pay a $1,000 fine, among other terms.
Miller was arrested for possession of marijuana in Jan. 2008 during a traffic stop on U.S. 59 near Airport Road. According to a previous report, authorities found $11,000 in cash in addition to the marijuana.
