TRINITY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Deputy constables in Trinity County have re-arrested a Trinity woman accused of making threats against a witness who cooperated in an undercover meth bust earlier this month.

Pct. 1 Deputy Constables Rusty Barrett and Ricky Hope arrested Bethany Hilda Solomon, 26, at her residence in Camp Branch Acres last week, according to Constable Woody Wallace.

Wallace said the arrest stemmed from an investigation by Deputy Constable Mark Cole, who received a warrant to arrest Solomon on a charge of retaliation.

Solomon is alleged to have made threats to a witness whom assisted the constable's office with a December 2 undercover buy/bust in which Solomon was charged with felony delivery of a controlled substance.

"There are a number of people whom are willing to put their names on the line to help us fight drugs and crime," Wallace stated on his Facebook page. "The constable's office will not tolerate anyone who threatens or take action against anyone who assists us with our investigations."
