LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Lufkin firefighters responded battled a vehicle fire near the Pilgrim's Pride plant on Frank Avenue Friday evening. No one was injured in the fire.

When firefighters arrived on the scene, a wrecker, which was parked on Webber Street, was fully engulfed in flames.

A spokesperson for the Lufkin Police Department said that an officer at the scene called A-1 Wrecker to come in and tow a car that had been in an accident. While the wrecker driver was getting the car, he turned around and saw that his wreck was on fire.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
