Wilderness Pow-Wow

Several families are leaving the cities this weekend in search of nature at the 26th Annual Texas Wilderness Pow-Wow.

Nature walks, historical trails, and wildlife are abundant at the Boykin Springs Recreational Area where this year's Pow-Wow is being held. On Saturday night, there was a campfire with live music, storytelling, and much more. Volunteers at the Pow-Wow say it's all to show East Texas what they have in their own back yard.

David Bezanson, a Pow-Wow Volunteer, said, "were just out here to camp and hike and enjoy the national forest that belongs to all of us and have a great time."
