Oklahoma Man Leads Police On Chase

Some exciting moments for East Texas law enforcement late Sunday afternoon after they were involved in a police chase that began in the city of Nacogdoches and ended up near the intersection of Highway 103 and FM 1819 in Angelina County.

Law enforcement officials say Mickle Timmons of Chocktaw, Oklahoma fled from Nacogdoches police after they were responding to a report of an assault at a local video store.

Police pursued Timmons down Highway 59 to FM 2021 in Angelina County, the chase then continued on Highway 103 West all the way to FM 1819, where Timmons was finally apprehended after his car was disabled with tire spikes.

Law enforcement also say it appears that there was some ingredients in the car that could be used to manufacture meth.

Angelina County Sheriff Kent Henson tells the East Texas News that Timmons was out on bond in Oklahoma on burglary and firearms charges.

On Sunday, Timmons is being booked in the Angelina County jail on charges of felony evasion.
