ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Deputies with the Angelina County Sheriff's Office arrested a 37-year-old man Wednesday after they executed a narcotics search warrant on a home on Richardson Road and found cocaine, meth, cash, and items used to distribute illegal drugs, according to a press release.
Miguel Angel Garza, of Lufkin, is still being held in the Angelina County Jail on two first-degree felony manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance charges and an Immigration and Customs Enforcement hold. Collectively, his bond amount has been set at $150,000 for the two felony charges.
According to the press release, the ACSO deputies executed the search warrant at a home in the 2500 block of Richardson Road. During a search of the residence, they found quantities of cocaine, methamphetamine, cash, and several items used in the distribution of illegal narcotics, the press release stated.
The deputies seized the illegal drugs, the cash, and three vehicles, the press release stated.
Garza was arrested at the scene and taken to the county jail.
"The sheriff's office would like to thank Lufkin PD Street Crimes Unit along with DPS Narcotics for their participation and assistance in this operation," the press release stated.
