Longview City Council accepted a $100,000 donation from RDM Management LLC at Thursday evening’s City Council meeting. The city plans use the donation towards constructing six bus shelters.

On Thursday evening, several of the honorees and their family members flew into Tyler for the event. The event will have vehicles and veterans from around the U.S. in attendance.

"Next thing you know is they heard a bang. A small bang - they thought the tire was out. She (Caitlin Elizabeth) flew to the back seat; they thought she was just playing because she kids like that," said her mother, Senta Holmes.
