A First Alert Weather Day has been declared for late Tuesday night and lasting into the pre-dawn hours on Wednesday morning as another round of strong-to-severe thunderstorms come calling to the Piney Woods.
Two rounds of strong to severe storms will once again be possible in East Texas late on Tuesday afternoon, and then again overnight into the pre-dawn morning hours of Wednesday.
Severe storms that moved through East Texas on Saturday left damage, power outages, and flooded roadways in their wake. The effects continue to be felt Sunday.

According to the National Weather Service, the watch covers Henderson, Van Zandt, Rains, and Hopkins Counties along with other counties outside East Texas.
The biggest threats that we are monitoring are damaging winds and the potential for flash flooding. The tornado potential has increased slightly since the last outlook. The large hail threat remains low.
