Former Stephen F. Austin basketball standout Matt Kingsley going pro

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Matt Kingsley, former Stephen F. Austin basketball star is heading overseas to continue his college basketball career.  He will be hooping it up in the union of European leagues of basketball.

Kingsley was the Southland Conference player of the year for the Lumberjacks in 2008-2009 and helped lead them to NCAA tournament for the first time in school history.  He finished his career with 1,502 points and 637 rebounds. 

Kingsley's new team the BC Siauliai finished the regular season 15-5.  His new team was formed in 1994 Lithuanian Basketball League.
