Angelina County kicks off annual Shred Day event

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Wednesday marked the start of the annual Shred Day event hosted by Angelina Beautiful Clean. The event helps people recycle paper items in a safe way the protects their identity.
The event is part of the national Great American Cleanup event. The event is held across the country from March 1-May 31.
This year the event has expanded to three days over three locations.
The following locations and times are:
- Wednesday, March 5th 9 a.m. to noonLufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce (1615 S. Chestnut, Lufkin)
- Thursday, March 6th 9 a.m. to noon DollarGeneral Parking Lot (225 N Temple, Diboll)
- Friday, March 7th 9 a.m. to noon PineyWoods Sanitation (517 N. US Hwy 69, Huntington
