PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (KLTV/KTRE) - Four East Texas anglers hit the water on Thursday on Lake Champlain in Plattsburgh, New York, for the 2026 SPRO Bassmaster Elite Series.

Carl Jocumsen leads all anglers with 23 pounds, 2 ounces.

Longview’s Lee Livesay is in 14th place after the first day. He caught five fish for 19 pounds, 4 ounces.

Winnsboro’s Pake South sits in 28th after catching five fish for 18 pounds, 5 ounces.

Huntington’s Keith Combs is tied for 33rd after catching five fish for 18 pounds, 1 ounce.

Brookeland’s Dakota Ebare is tied for 44th after catching five fish for 17 pounds, 11 ounces.

All of the anglers hit the water on Friday morning, with the top 50 advancing to fish on Saturday.
